Drawing heavy inspiration from the bold, expressive, and unapologetic attitude of Western street culture, the brand translates these influences into a sophisticated, everyday aesthetic. The resulting collections heavily favor relaxed, oversized silhouettes and clean, purposeful lines, offering an effortlessly elevated look that transitions seamlessly from casual environments to more polished urban settings. Comprising fundamental wardrobe staples like tank tops, short-sleeve tees, hoodies, shorts, and sweatpants, the line centers on a timeless, foundational palette of black, off-white, and heather grey. To keep the collection dynamic, CHOIR introduces carefully curated seasonal tones, such as deep espresso browns or rich teals. As the core visual elevation of the SO CUE LAB Sensory Immersion Laboratory, this work embodies the spatial design logic rooted in the coastal urban context of the Greater Bay Area. Adopting coastal minimalism as its aesthetic foundation, it translates the core design philosophy of "decoration-free, texture-oriented, and immersion-driven" through hierarchical design of materials, composition, light and shadow, and field perception, serving as the most intuitive visual carrier for interpreting the project’s spatial context and multi-sensory system. Departing from the trendy display-oriented and visually stacked approach prevalent in contemporary commercial spaces, this visual piece centers on restrained spatial composition, eliminating redundant soft furnishings and symbolic installations, and defines the aesthetic boundary of an experimental mixed-use venue through pure architectural language.
In terms of visual composition, the design abandons high-contrast color schemes and intricate forms, adopting a low-saturation cool grey palette as the base. It establishes the spatial skeleton through extensive negative space and geometric solid volumes, while diffused linear ambient light organizes the circulation, crafting a rational, sleek, and breathable spatial temperament. This design methodology intentionally weakens the utilitarian attributes of commercial spaces and eliminates unnecessary visual interference, precisely aligning with the core positioning of the "LAB" laboratory concept. It prioritizes the space itself as the subject of experience rather than a backdrop for decoration. The overall balanced yet dynamic composition contrasts enclosed solid elevations with permeable transparent interfaces, echoing the project’s spatial planning logic of boundary-free indoor-outdoor flow.
